We are Becky and Nik from Emberez kennels in the North East of England.
We love, own and exhibit mainly the Dogue De Bordeaux. We travel all over Europe with our dogues and have won many top honors especially with Enferno who was originally bred in Belgium by Vand De Paterhoek kennels. Enferno has won so much over a 2 year period including..... 4 Best In Shows, 3 Reserve Best In Shows and 8 Group wins, many Best of Breeds and group placings and Best in Show at many of the breeds most prestigeous Club Shows.
We are committed to breeding healthy, true to type Dogue De Bordeaux to not only exhibit but to enjoy our lives with. We have a huge passion for this wonderful breed and care dearly for the breeds future wellbeing and are committed to producing great show dogs to represent the breed in the Show ring across Europe.
In the last 7 years our breeding has produced 46 Champion titles so far across Europe including, French, Dutch, Belgian, International, European, World and American Champions.
We retired our most successful Dogue De Bordeaux at Crufts 2009 "Enferno" after his Best of Breed win at the breeds very first appearance at the prestigious show. He deserved a break from being taken all over Europe and had won so much already Including his 3rd Best In Show at Gent making us the first British Kennel "all breeds" to take a Best In Show in Belgium. Plus we were also too excited to bring out our youngsters for 2009.
So shortly after in May 2009 we brought out a whole Show team and so far this year we have taken the "DOUBLE" at Crufts, European Dog Show in Dublin, SKC, Border Union, Bath, Blackpool and Windsor Championship Show, which on many occasions took the Junior class winners and reserves.
Our most successful member of the team so far has to be our 15 month old female "Tyrannus Skyejacked by Emberez" who is the first and only female Dogue De Bordeaux to be placed Best In Show at a multi Group open show and be placed in the Group at a Championship Show. She is also the youngest Dogue De Bordeaux to do this and also the youngest Dogue De Bordeaux to take a Best of Breed at a Championship Show and more than once!
